Djibouti (Arabic: جيبوتي ‎ Jībūtī, Somali: Jabuuti), officially the Republic of Djibouti, is a country in the Horn of Africa bordered by Eritrea in the north, Ethiopia in the west and south, Somalia in the southeast., and by the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. The  estimated 2005 population of over 500,000. Its capital is the city of Djibouti.
