Welcome
Welcome to the web site of the Jewish Genealogical Society of the Conejo Valley and Ventura County (JGSCV)!
We invite residents of nearby communities to join our constituency and benefit from “venturing into our past” by researching our Jewish family histories. Indeed, this is what JGSCV is all about:
- We are searching our Jewish roots;
- We are devoted to our personal Genealogy;
- We are a Society fostering interest in researching our mutual ancestry;
- We are Conscious of our responsibility to share the results of our discoveries;
- We are the Vanguard of the Conejo/Ventura Jewish community in recording our history.
We meet 10 months a year on a Sunday at Temple Adat Elohim in Thousand Oaks. Meetings are oriented to the needs of the novice as well as the more experienced genealogist.
