Annual conferences on Jewish Genealogy have been held since 1981
(two conferences were held in 1984). Over the years, the conferences
have become larger and ever more professional. All, however, have
served the purpose of bringing together those interested in Jewish
Genealogy: to learn, to research, and, most importantly, to share.
The names of the conferences have varied and the numbering did not
become standardized until 1998, as shown below. Where a conference
