Dr. Myrthe DREYFUSS
Myrthe DREYFUSS-KAHN, born in 1928 in Basle, Switzerland. Ph.D. of the Basle University in Economics (after studies in Basle, at the Columbia University, N.Y. and at Faculté de Droit, Paris).
After the graduation, active as mediator of international negotiations between Germany and Turkey, in Hannover.
Since her marriage in 1956 with the engineer Marc F.Dreyfuss, resident in Zurich, 3 adult children, widowed since 1984. Research work especially in statistics and women professions.
Charity work as president of different Jewish organisations. 1985-1996, member of the board of directors of Swiss Jews, responsible for social affairs, especially for refugees. Since 1996, studies of the history of the Jews in Switzerland and even some times active as a guide of historical places.
