Meredith HOFFMAN
Meredith Hoffman is a professional genealogist, lecturer, and writer who specializes in researching 19th/early 20th century Jewish immigrant ancestors to the US and enjoys solving difficult Jewish name problems. She holds degrees in Linguistics from UC-Berkeley and is a graduate of the Boston University Genealogical Research Program and IGHR. She is Syllabus Chair for the New England Regional Genealogical Conference, Publicity Chair of the Jewish Genealogy Society of Greater Boston, founding editor of the Success! Stories webzine on JewishGen.org, and the Town Leader & KehillaLinks coordinator for Berezno, Ukraine, at JewishGen.org. She is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists and the Genealogical Speakers' Guild. She regularly lectures and gives workshops on beginning and advanced topics in genealogy, with a special focus on Jewish genealogy topics and tools.
