Michel ZAFFRAN
Born in Algiers, Algeria, Michel Zaffran is an Engineer from the Ecole Centrale with additional training in tropical Epidemiology. Since 1987 he has been working for the Expanded Programme on Immunization of the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.
He started his research in genealogy in the early 1990’s, initially as a means to better understand the family links between the numerous cousins that were getting together during family events.
In addition to the Zaffran Families, he has conducted extensive research on the Miguéres, Safar, Aboulker and Temime families.
