Sidney CORCOS
Sidney S. Corcos was born in 1949 in Agadir, Morocco. Now a resident of Jerusalem and the director of the Natural History Museum in this town. He has been involved in historical and genealogical research of the Jews in Morocco since 1975, after the death of his father, the historian and researcher David Corcos. He has researched the history of Jewish families and the interrelations between them and jewish names in Morocco and especially those from Mogador / Essaouira. He is studying the rich family archives and others and has published several articles. He has participated in the important colloquium " Migrations, Identity and Modernity in the Maghreb" held in Mogador/Essaouira. Morocco in 2010.
