Genetics

The development of genetics, in recent years, appears as a revolution in medical research. Its impact on areas such as genealogy is not negligible. The study of the YDNA and of mitochondrial DNA brings additional genealogical information, which complements conventional resources, and may sometimes substitute the lack of data or archive. However, the results depend today on the number of tests carried out in the world. As individual we contribute to the creation of new archives usefull to reconstruct the history of families. It is this approach that will be developed with specific examples taken in a specific family research.
