Methodology

The world of genealogy research is opening new doors almost daily. Much more material is available now due to digitization. Are Genealogy Societies keeping up with the new trends? I plan to highlight the integration of modern technologies in the new planning for the Israel Genealogy Research Association.

We have chosen to make our activities available to people throughout Israel and the world. We are examining which components will speak to people – Learning segments on video, Live Webinars (also available afterwards), "smart" forms, Lectures on video, on-line chat help assistance, databases and search capabilities and more. The intention is to present some very exciting possibilities that have been tried and can be adapted or adopted by other societies.
