Audience Level: Beginner/Intermediate

Many people use one or another of the many tools on Jewishgen.org and are not aware of the vast variety of resources and how to use them to optimize their research. We survey the JewishGen Family Finder; reading, posting to, and searching the Discussions Lists; thenewly updated and immensely valuable JewishGen FAQ; specific useful InfoFiles, especially the Eastern European FAQ, the Jewish Given Names talk, the comprehensive set of Country InfoFiles ;Jewish Records in the Family History Library Catalog; the Jewish Given Names Database; SIG pages; Family Tree of the Jewish People; ViewMate; KehilaLinks; and the Town Finder/Communities Database-Gazetteer.
