Alliance Israélite Universelle

Drawing in the archives photographs and films of the "Alliance Israelite Universelle", Josy Eisenberg traces the history of 150 years of evolution of this institution which has upset the Eastern Jewish world, allowing its emancipation and access to Western modernity. Many interviews with officials of the Alliance provide the current axes of development and achievements of the Alliance. All times are evoked, and moving images of Morocco or Israel are reliving the key moments this story. More recnetly, visits in the main schools and the testimony of the young students show the vivacity of today Alliance.
