From now on, we are progressively entering online a draft schedule for the invited speakers who accepted to come. Among these invited speakers, are east European Archivists, geneticists or historians who never or rarely came to any previous conference. So you will hear very new lectures you have never heard before.
Our volunteers are doing their best in order for you to find online as quickly as possible. The call for papers (see above) has now been posted and many other speakers and workshops are expected.

A SIG (Special Interest Group) is a group within JewishGen which brings together genealogists originating from a country or a large region. For instance, there is Ukraine-SIG for those who have a family from Ukraine, H-SIG for Hungary and so on. These SIG are active through all year long and manage a mailing list with e-mails sent every day or almost every day. Some fifteen of them will be present at the Paris 2012 Conference. They will participate to breakfasts, to luncheons and will host qualified speakers.
BOF means Birds of a Feather. This is a group smaller than a SIG bringing together genealogists originating from a city or a district. Eight BOFs will be present in Paris. Two more groups with very specialized common interests have been added under this heading.
