Support the IAJGS and the Future of Jewish Genealogical Research
IAJGS is a non-profit organization*, run and maintained by volunteers.
Our mission is to support, educate, and advocate for the global community exploring Jewish family history, while fostering a robust and growing network of groups to engage people in the excitement of discovering their heritage.
We welcome your partnership in furthering this mission. Please consider supporting the IAJGS in any of the following ways.
Volunteer
Every year at our annual conference, we need a small army of volunteers to make
things run as smoothly as possible. You need not be local to the conference to do so.
The more volunteers we have, the better the conference can be. In turn, it will allow you
to build a network of fellow genealogists who are actively engaged in the genealogical
community.
We also have a variety of volunteer needs throughout the year that include
opportunities such as serving as an IAJGS liaison to JGSs, providing technical support
or expertise, and helping to develop new resources for JGSs. We welcome your
involvement and invite your participation. Please consider volunteering to help.
Donate
You can donate directly to IAJGS. In addition to general support you may, if desired, designate a specific purpose for your gift, including, for example, lectures at our annual conference, or research awards. We also encourage tribute gifts – gifts in honor of or in memory of someone.
Donations can be made by check or credit card. You may also donate stock or give through a donor advised fund. To donate, click here.
Make a Charitable Bequest
You may designate a distribution from your estate through a will or revocable trust. To make a Charitable Bequest, see our suggested wording.
