As visitors to this website are likely aware, our friend and colleague, Ron Arons, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday, January 7th. Ron was a special person within IAJGS, where he served as Secretary of the Board and assumed a broad range of responsibilities. He was also well known within the broader genealogical community as an author and knowledgeable and engaging speaker. With a background in engineering and management, Ron was the technology maven on whom the IAJGS relied in planning our international conferences. We will miss the expertise, generosity, and enthusiasm that he brought to our work.
